Allen’s Gabe Woffindin is the lehighvalleylive Boys Volleyball Player of the Week

Gabe Woffindin

Canaries coach Tim Lutterschmidt said before the season that his team would often be looking to Woffindin for guidance on the court. In a pair of wins this week, the senior outside hitter didn’t let them down.

Woffindin posted a monster 38 kills and four blocks Monday in a 3-1 win over Kutztown before coming back with 20 kills and five blocks in a 3-0 win over Easton on Thursday.

Allen has been up and down all year as it continues its quest to reach the postseason, but it’s in good hands with Woffindin leading the way.
