Club Lehigh Boys Instructional Volleyball League

Boys Grades 3 -8
6 Sunday Sessions from October 15 to November 19, 2017
Moravian Academy • 1-4 pm

The BIVL will teach young athletes, grades 3-8, the fundamental skills of volleyball such as passing, setting, serving, and hitting. Players will use these skills in volleyball-like games that will reinforce technique. Our goal is to introduce the game of volleyball through fun skill drills and games

Cost is $125.00

Meet Sharon Dunkle

Many of you already know Sharon Dunkle from previous years, but for those of you who have not yet met her, Sharon is our Registrar and Fundraising Coordinator. She does her behind-the-scenes magic in keeping straight who paid what, when and she runs all of our fundraisers. Sharon can help you anytime you aren’t sure what you owe and if you want to participate in any fundraising.

Sharon lives in Emmaus with her husband Ken. They have four sons – Justin, Collin, Brendan and Owen – two of whom played for Club Lehigh and for their high school. So she knows what it’s like to live and breathe volleyball at times. You will find her to be a great listener and always happy to help in any way she can.

Club Lehigh Volleyball Announces Jarred Kostic as Team Development Coordinator

Club Lehigh Volleyball is pleased to announce the appointment of Coach Jarred Kostic as Team Development Coordinator. In the new position Jarred will be responsible for attracting new players to the club, connecting coaches with players for their teams, player retention, and the development of new teams.

Coach Kostic is entering his 8th season at Club Lehigh. He is the current Varsity Boys Assistant Coach for the 2016 District XI Champion, State Semi-finalist Emmaus Hornets. In his 17 years of experience coaching at the Club, High School, and Junior College level, Coach Kostic holds a very decorated list of championships and high-level achievements.

“Jarred is connected on the ground level with the athletes that fill our programs,” says Executive Director Deb Schlosser. “He has earned the respect of 17 year’s worth of teams, often several teams within a year. We can’t think a of a better person to be out in the community, interacting with the athletes that we hope to serve well as we participate in the sport we all love.

Coach Kostic lives in Bethlehem with his wife Gina and three boys Noah 12, Zack 10, and Dylan 5.

Club Lehigh Volleyball Announces Rowley as Associate Director

Club Lehigh Volleyball is pleased to announce the appointment of Coach Jackie Rowley as Associate Club Director. In the new position Jackie will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the Club, with responsibility for coach development, developmental programming and technical direction. Deb Schlosser will remain as Executive Director.

Coach Rowley has a devoted following in the Lehigh Valley, with 16 years of coaching experience at middle school, high-school, club and college levels. Jackie has coached a variety of different ages for Club Lehigh over the years. In addition, she currently is in her 4th year as the Eyer Middle School boy’s volleyball coach. Rowley served for 13 years as coach and club director for the highly successful Court Authority Volleyball Academy and will rely heavily on that experience as she takes on a leadership role within Club Lehigh.

“Jackie’s leadership, coaching experience, and passionate approach to teaching the game will be instrumental in advancing the mission of the club,” says Executive Director Deb Schlosser. “She is known for her ability to get the most out of her players and for inspiring them to new levels while having a great time. Jackie will help our organization continue to grow. We are looking forward to bringing her commitment to Club Lehigh.”

“I am eager to take on the new role as Associate Director at Club Lehigh,” says Rowley. “I look forward to contributing my efforts in ways that will help propel the program to the next level. Club Lehigh has a tradition of treating its athletes like family and I look forward to upholding that value.”
